Default Problem with VCD and PowerDVD 8.0.1830

When I mount a Blu-ray image with VCD and then open PowerDVD ultra 8.0.1830 to play the player freezes. No problem when using Daemon Tools Lite 4.12.3. Also no problem playing with PowerDVD ultra 7.3.4102. If I already have PowerDVD ultra 8 open and then mount the image with VCD, no problem playing. Anyone else noticed this problem with VCD?

After a little more investigating, it seems the problem only happens if the first .iso I mount is on a network drive. For what it is worth, when I mount an iso image from a network drive and then open either PowerDVD 7 or PowerDVD 8 the player does not display the name of the iso in "select source". PowerDVD 7 will still play the movie, but PowerDVD 8 freezes. Both players recognize the iso name if I mount with Daemon Tools Lite.

Are you playing Bluray disks wirelessly? I thought the data rate was too high to do that. My problem has only been with Bluray isos ripped with AnyDVD.

James,

I just tried out the release candidate version 5.4.0.5 and it seems to have solved the problems I was having! Thanks for this and all your other terrific products.
