DVDs that will not rip using CloneDVD Mobile

I cannot rip Resident Evil Extinction or Underworld Rise of the Lycans to AVI using CloneDVD Mobile. I can't even see the contents of the VIDEO_TS folder on the DVD in Explorer! When I insert the DVD the autorun wants to play the DVD using RealMedia instead of my default DVD player PowerDVD. When I run CloneDVD Mobile I get an error telling me that the disc structure is corrupted and unreadable. These two DVDs play just fine in my computer using PowerDVD and in my DVD player in my home system. I can even burn a duplicate DVD just fine using CloneDVD2. I am an experienced network administrator and computer technician, and have been using SlySoft products to successfully rip DVDs to AVI for years. I always run the latest versions; right now CloneDVD Mobile 1.2.0.1 and AnyDVD 6.5.4.9. I can't figure this out. I suspect that these two titles make use of some new encryption technology, but cannot find any mention of others experiencing similar problems anwhere on the Internet. I've even aquired entirely different physical DVDs of the same two titles but the problem remains. HELP!

Right-click on the fox icon on your toolbar, and select "Rip video-dvd to Hard Disk". Choose your source and destination paths. Click "Copy", and wait for Anydvd ripper to finish. Then import that rip into Clonedvd mobile.
