Problem with mount Visual Studio 2008 iso

I'm on "Windows 7 ultimate N" x64 running as a guest to vmplayer. Haven't seen any issues with VCD here until I tried to install Visual Studio 2008 Professional. Download the iso on the vmware host, check the sha1 hash - all good. Mount the iso from Windows 7 (sees the iso from a share) and run the installer. Gets about 3/4 of the way through and then says cab file 37 is not signed correctly and then backs out the install.

Any suggestions?

I've burnt this same ISO to a DVD and that works just fine.
