I have setup a profile that runs Sims 3 Showtime without the disk in the drive. It works perfectly if there are no disks in the optical drives. However, if there is a disk of any kind in any of the optical drives (including disks mounted on a Virtual CloneDrive) I will get a "No game disk in drive" error and the game won't run.
Is this normal behaviour? |

In my personal experience that is not normal. With the Sims 3 (ALL versions including Showtime) there is an updated profile map you might want to grab and use. You can find it in the Updated profile map file for The Sim 3 support thread.

Thanks FurryGuy. I am already using the updated profile map. I was fairly certain that the "no disk" warning when the optical drives are occupied is abnormal. But I wanted confirmation before I wasted any more time playing around with the profile.
