Default volume of movie is low

Ive done several movie for my son for his Innotab and the sound seems to be ok. Yesterday I was adding other movies to his tab but I noticed that all of them seem to be very low in sound even though my son cranks up the volume of the innotab. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

Question Format?

That device supports several file types.
Which format have you chosen for the movie. I suspect DIVX/AVI would be the best fit for that device.

Frank I used the DIVX so I don't know if I'm still doing something wrong with it.

I have noticed that different output formats can have different volume levels when played back using the same player. Not always the case, but it does happen. From my very cursory testing it seems the more work CDMobile has to do to convert the more likely the volume might be changed.

You can open the devices.ini in the CloneDVDmobile folder and adjust the MVolume=10 number. I would not go up much, the speakers on tablets are usually pretty lame and the sound gets ratty. Try 20 first and go up a little at a time. See below:

[* Generic (DivX)]
Res1=320x240
Res2=480x360
Res3=640x480
Res4=720x540
ResAna1=320x180
ResAna2=480x270
ResAna3=640x360
ResAna4=720x404
ResAna5=852x480
AllowNativeTVResolution=1
VTag=DIVX
mopts=-lameopts cbr:br=%abrate%
lavcopts=vcodec=mpeg4
moac=mp3lame
Format=avi -noodml
FileType=avi
ARate=48000
ABRate=128
MVolume=10
Quality=23
useMencoder=1
SubTitle=1
MaxVBitrate=3000
