Default How to SET Resolution to 480x272

I have searched but not found a resolution to this question .. though I might have used wrong terms in search.

I want CloneDVD Mobile to default to 480x272 when I get to the Output Method page. I am ripping all of mine at the resolution. Is there a way to do this. Not a biggie .. just a convenience.

Thank you

Question Why?

And what is so magical about that resolution?
What output format are you selecting?

'cause I am a user and i want it? <G>

First thanks for the quick reply ..

No really, my files are built to just play a small portion of my 34inch screen while i work. I find that this setting creates the best image for the size. Your question makes me wonder .. is changing from the standard size 320x180 to the next setting NOT what I want to use? Is it possible that I have been misusing this all these years? (probably)

So i finally found this post which for some reason i missed in my first search. So will look at the devices.ini file AFTER saving a copy <G>

I am still interested in your questioning why. I really would like to know if there is a better size/resolution/quality etc setting.

Thank you for your reply

Frank, any thoughts? Most of the time i am getting AVI out. Sometimes these files will be used by my son for his Transformer.

I really would like to know how to get the best out of this. If i have been doing it wrong all this time I really would like to know.

Default You can "roll your own"

https://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=53306 may help you. I prepared some additional info for users with special devices like the transformer.

You are free of course to edit the devices.ini file in the slysoft/clonedvd mobile directory and modify or add a specific resolution. The program is usually tolerant of such things so give it a go.

Thanks a lot for the reply Frank. i will follow up on the link.

I would rather not modify the devices.ini file .. might fat-finger it <G>

Maybe in some future incarnation of dvdMobile it can be able to save current settings?

But not bigs .. and thanks again

David
