Rip Format

Greetings and thanks in advance. I have been using AnyDVD and CloneDVD2 for awhile to make disc to disc backups. I am now interesed in ripping my DVDs to a HDD for backup and network streaming.

I have searched this forum and the internet for the past couple days trying to find out what output file type is best..ISO/UDF image or DVD files. I currently have XBMC for streaming and will look at Boxee when a windows version is released. Being new to video streaming, I am open to any and all suggestions.
