I want to see the information in the log files. Take any DVD that you own and put it in the working drive, create log files, and post them.

Did you read what I wrote originally? Is your external optical drive listed in "My Computer" or under "computer"?

How do I enable it for this external drive? I can still use my internal drive, but the external has always been 3 times as fast. I can still use the external to burn, but just not read the dvd's. Any help would be great. I looked through some older posts and couldn't find anything similar. I am currently using version AnyDVD 6.5.9.5.
This is a bug that'll be fixed soon. It happens if your external drive is switched off or is not connected at the time AnyDVD starts.
Workaround: Exit AnyDVD. Start AnyDVD.

Please try AnyDVD 6.5.9.9:

This should fix this problem.
