Pretty simple. Blu-ray = blu-ray, blu-ray is NOT a DVD. Completely different thing

CloneDVD is as the name sais for DVD's only. If you wish to copy a blu-ray you rip it to ISO or file structure, then burn it to DISK with IMGBurn. If you wish to compress a blu-ray dl down to SL, i recommend BD-Rebuilder

Imgburn is better than nero, when it come to burning. For example it is more careful to tell you in advance if something is likely to go wrong. Did I mention it is free as well.

Rip with AnyDVD to ISO, start up IMGBurn select write iso to disc, load the iso and burn away. Plain and simple

If your ISO is too big for a Single layer BD-R then you can rebuild it to fit a BD25 with BD-Rebuilder and you won't see or hear any difference between the original and the rebuilt one

Nero vs IMGBurn => IMGburn wins every single time

I upgraded to the full blown Nero recently and I'm still wondering why -- I have not used it for a few months - since I installed ImgBurn - it just works better and is easier to use

Ch3vr0n or any1, do I need to download and install ffdshow, Haali Media Splitter and avisynth in order to make BD-Rebuilder to work? Making a backup Blu-ray isn't easy like back in the day with Shrink... Thank you..

Yes, those tools are required for BDRB to work. Follow the instructions TO THE LETTER in this developpers thread at http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=143716. Then set it up to your liking (what audio / sub streams to keep, wether or not to remove the recoded folder on burning, wether or not to keep HD audio or recode it, ...) and then just press backup and watch the magic happen

Also do NOT update the additional tools if there are newer versions. The ones in the thread have been tested thoroughly with BDRB. If for some reason another application installs any program (filter) like ffdshow run the inspect.exe in the BDRB folder to see if all settings are still correct.
