Red face Home movies made on Mac....cant copy

Hey everyone, new to the forum but definitely not new to anydvd. I am trying to burn/copy/make back up (which ever wording you prefer) a dvd that I made in iMovie on Mac. It burns the movie just fine but there is no audio. What is it that I'm doing wrong? Hope you can help. Thanks in advance.

Discs made in iMovie will not have copy protection so AnyDVD will have nothing to do with these disc issues.

Wouldn't it make more sense to ask on an iMovie forum?

@meyerz

First, always post a question at the appropriate place:
http://forum.slysoft.com/forumdisplay.php?f=35

You need to give us more info.
I assume you are using Windows?
Does the original DVD play with audio on your computer using the DVD-drive?
Have you tried to copy/clone the DVD to harddrive before burning?

Does the copied DVD contain a VIDEO_TS and a AUDIO_TS folder?
The VIDEO_TS folder should contain something like:
VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.BUP
VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.IFO
VIDEO_TS\VIDEO_TS.VOB
VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_0.BUP
VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_0.VUP
VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_0.IFO
VIDEO_TS\VTS_01_1.VOB

The AUDIO_TS folder should be empty.

Using PowerDVD or similar, does the copied DVD play with audio?

regards

I dont own clone dvd so no i havent tried that. My DVD has the two files...audio and video but the video file does not have that many files in it. When i play it on any computer or dvd player it does have sound, but when I burn it thru any dvd and then try to convert to M4V file it has no sound.

Thanks for any help.

OK, I doubt this has any protection so you do not need AnyDVD and AnyDVD will not do a thing for you in this DVD > M4V process.

What are you using to convert to M4V?

Obviously all is well with the content if you can play it on a Windows machine so your issue is in the process to convert to MP4.

Default Aha.

Then I'm afraid SlySoft can't help too much can it?
Have you given any thought of contacting Handbrake support?
They might/should have a support team to handle such problems with their product.

Moving this to 3rd Party.
