Default Additional info: some unlisted devices and CloneDVD mobile

We often get questions about new or special devices and the correct way to use CloneDVD mobile to prepare a file for these.

Often, a new device is simply showing a new "face" but is still using a well-established profile and for this reason there is a special thread here for that.

CloneDVD mobile not showing your device?
http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=51575

In addition to this pointer for "not found" devices with simply a new "face" we also have assembled "additional information" elements as passed to us from users with tips and tricks for the named devices.

NOTE: A soon to be released major update to CloneDVD mobile (planned August 2012) will employ both a new engine and an improved device properties function.
The coming product for Blu-Ray called Slyce will employ this same engine and "face".

These threads are condensed into one major thread now to improve the usability of the CloneDVD Forum.

There will be a tool to add your own devices shortly. No technical expertise required.

I thought PS Vita it's a popular device and there'll be a specific ready profile for it.
But any way - that kind of tool will be helpful - thanks for info

That sounds like a really cool idea. Will it be a tool contained within CloneDVD Mobile or be a standalone?

Once again Slysoft goes beyond simple software maintenance.

This may be a very popular device but not even the manufacturer makes a big thing out of playing videos on it. The fact that is supports MP4 is a "oh, by the way...." on the site for the specs and you have to look in the FAQs about the product launch. This is why we have not put a lot of effort showing it in the product or here on the Forum in my exception list.

This subject has been addressed in the past too.

http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread....hlight=ps+vita

We do not get very many inquires about it at all so it is a relatively "background" matter. The new tool may help address this.
