Hi guys ... Well I have the Star Wars: Complete Saga Bluray Set (US Version), and I'm trying to rip them using AnyDVD HD 7.0.2.0 ....
I put in The Phantom Menace first, and ripped it, no problems .. Next, I put in The Clone Wars, and AnyDVD HD remained on the 'scanning' phase for like 15 minutes, after which it said 'no replacements found', or something similar .. I'm posting the log for The Clone Wars here so you guys can have a look .. |

You need to update to the latest version, your version is quite old

@ahmadka: Two solutions: a) extend your license, or b) allow AnyDVD to connect to the internet, because the Online Protection Database should fix that disc for you even with the outdated 7.0.2.0.

Thanks guys for your help ...
Okay, so what I did was enable Check Online Database, and the problem sorted itself out for ALL Star Wars movies EXCEPT Return of the Jedi (Episode 6) .. For this bluray, despite the 'Check Online Database' option being enabled, it still gives me the 'cannot find replacement ...' error after remaining at the 'scanning' stage for like 30 minutes .. I'm attaching the log file for this bluray .. Also, I downloaded and installed version 7.0.4.0 on another machine, enabled 'Check Online Database' on that, and then tried running this same bluray, and go the 'ERROR processing Bluray disc' error, with the error code '1151' written in the Status window ... Help ... ?

Though: I can see, that you're using VMWare - please note that these variants of the BD+ protection won't work in a virtualized environment. In that case a log file will be useless. I'm pretty certain, that your AnyDVD can't access the internet database, I just checked, that disc is in the OPD. Some firewall blocking it or proxy settings (AnyDVD uses WinInet, so please verify if you can access the internet using IE - in case you're normally using firefox, you wouldn't know)? With AnyDVD being able to access the Internet, it would work in any environment.

My observation has been that there are no BD+ keys included with AnyDVDHD updates. If the disk is BD+ protected, it doesnt' matter how long it's been out there, you have to have authorized access to the online AnyDVDHD data base to get the key the first time.
Log files usually show that the key was accessed locally, but that's only because AnyDVDHD has already downloaded the key on the initial scan of the disk and the logs are created with the second scan. In other words, if your license expires, forget about accessing BD+ keys of even very old releases that you have not previously scanned. Since license expiration means you can't access the online database. |

Not sure who you are replying to Adbear, but All the Star Wars US versions have had a BD+ solution for awhile. So either he has a bad disk or a problem accessing the online key database.
It's possible it's a new key, but unlikely considering the lead up to all his or her's previous problems. ![]() PS I think I get what Adbear was disagreeiing with: "@ahmadka: Two solutions: a) extend your license, or b) allow AnyDVD to connect to the internet, because the Online Protection Database should fix that disc for you even with the outdated 7.0.2.0......" That should be "a) extend your license AND b) allow AnyDVD to connect to the internet..." It's actually one solution and not two solutions. But all joking aside, my experience is that BD+ keys are not circulated with AnyDVDHD program updates. Every BD+ disk I ever scanned the first time had to download keys from the online database. no, it's 2 solutions, from what I gather you can still connect to the online database and get BD+ keys even when when using an expired license, you just can't get program updates. of course if you don't update the software and the disc uses a newer MKB then having access to the BD+ won't help

Please don't confuse our users, thank you. That's our job and privilege... Also: newer versions have the BD+ "keys" on board. No database access required - in some rare cases, the keys just didn't make it into the beta. So please leave it there - you're scaring the women.
