Default Will CloneDVD clone 3D movies?

I live in Central Pennsylvania in the USA and am getting a new TV & DVD Player. Now I will be able to watch Blu-Ray DVD's as well as 3D DVD's. I purchased both AnyDVD & CloneDVD in about 2006 or 07 when all the updates were free. I guess I have several questions, will Blu Ray movies that I clone, clone in Blu Ray Format or the "old" DVD format non-blu-ray? and will 3D movies clone as 3D?

Is there a different SlySoft/Clone package I should purchase that would clone 3D?

Updates are still free and will remain so.
First you need to upgrade your AnyDVD to "HD" to process BluRays on the PC.
And as far as actually copying bluray

You can rip the BluRay disc (BD) movie to your hard drive, but it cannot be burned or transcoded with CloneDVD. CloneDVD is not sold as a BluRay product and will not be adapted for that either.
We will have a clone product soon for BluRay named "Slyce".
Until then there is a full-disc backup method (provided the BD source fits onto a BD-R/RE) using some FREE software along with AnyDVDHD:
Download and install ImgBurn (http://www.afterdawn.com/software/cd...ng/imgburn.cfm or http://www.imgburn.com - it's a free tool).

Then insert a BD and let AnyDVDHD scan it. Then open ImgBurn.

- Select "Mode" and then "read", then the "source" to "create image file from disc". ImgBurn will create an image of the BD on the hard drive.
- Then insert a blank BluRay disc
- Select the "write" mode "write image to blank disc".

To fit to a 25GB blank, see this Forum discussion:
http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread....=shrink+BluRay
OR:
With compression:
- Use AnyDVD HD ("rip video...." or "rip to image..." ISO image) right click menu on the tray icon

- Use the free BD Rebuilder tool
http://www.videohelp.com/tools/BD_Rebuilder
to compress down to approximately 23.3 gb on a BD-R single layer)
http://www.afterdawn.com/software/au..._rebuilder.cfm

- Imgburn (WRITE)

Without compression (and for 3D movies)

- AnyDVD HD (BDMV folder or ISO image)
- Clown_BD http://www.clownbd.com/
- Imgburn

Your step by step instructions is hands on practice with these software programs.

Question 3D side effects

I would like to know if Slysoft has a view on whether or not viewing 3D movies is hazardous. The read me text accompanying the download of PowerDVD 12 recommends that if if you experience side effects after viewing 3D movies you should see your doctor.
Does Slysoft have any feedback on this issue?

You are more likely to become more dizzy and a bigger headache associating with the Verance Corporation with their Cinavia and Sony Corporation for their corruption.

Don't sit and watch 3D movies for 8 hours at a time, use common sence when viewing any video for a long time.

CloneDVD will only backup DVDs, 3D or 2D. CloneDVD will NOT backup Bluray discs.

Slysoft is working on a Bluray solution (Slyce: Slysoft's Soon release Blu-ray Backup Product. Topic v1.1) but it has not yet been released.

One thing to note is that BD 3D is done differently than 3D DVDs. If you are not careful in how you backup the disc you can end up with a much larger backup than will fit onto a BD blank and/or removing the ability to properly play back 3D. Easiest way to get it done right is to just use AnyDVD's built-in ripper to rip to an image and mount it into a virtual drive for playback or burn the resulting image to a blank.
