Default Some new titles fail

I was backing up some 2012 dvd's and found I could read them but could not write them. All I got was a bad disk and it never showed anything on the progress bar in the write section. All others worked just fine.
Does anyone know how I can copy these?

Default That depends

AnyDVD is out of the loop by the time you get to writing.
Try better quality blanks and a lower writing speed.
This is NOT an AnyDVD problem and without more details you can't expect much help from anyone here.

Default Thanks Frank

Here is some more info for you
I normally use Sony DVD +R but I was using some -R's that my brother gave me so I don't know much about them and never thought of trying mine as his worked fine with my older title back-ups.
If you think this is the problem I will try mine on them.

What brand were those -R?? Also what kinda of burner are you using and O/S and how were you burning them? You don't mention which software you used to backup and burn them?? All those other information beyond the software used is helpful to diagnosis what and where the problem is.

I a using Lite-on iHAS124 C ATA serial and Lite-on iHBS212 2 ATA Blu-ray.
This computer is an Asus Z7 Sabortooth I7 quad-core Intel with 32 gigs of ram and 2 2Tb WD hard drives running Windows 7 32 bit.

The second computer that did the same thing is a Compaq 640 with a 3 gig Intel single core with 4 gig of ram and Lite-on DVDRW SOHW 16935 ATA and running Windows 7

Both ran for about 5 minuets after they switched to the write function and errored making a bad disk.

This is all I can find on the discs
CMDR 47G- CTMWMD2- 874 0418

I got this info from the Device manager but if you need more I can take them out of the computer and get umbers from the backs.

Hi Frank
I forgot to mention one important thing.
I also tried to copy the DVD files to the hard drive and then ran CloneDVD2 on the hard drive folder. This made what looks to a good copy with those DVD blanks in question.

Default Good data always works

Now I'm not fully clear if we were addressing a "write" error or a "read" error but the info you pass along now tells me you guaranteed the quality of the data container and burned that with CloneDVD. So, all is well.

THAT'S RIGHT
The problem is only on the write.

It sits with nothing in the progress bar and after trying to write the data for a while then it fails.

Once I copied the DVD folders from the DVD to the hard drive CloneDVD2 read them from it and switched right over to the Write function and made a good disc.

Also I just noticed I had clonedvd2 Version 2.9.2.2 so I just up-graded it.

If it makes a difference I don't have the HD upgrade for my Anydvd. I have been going to get it but I don't do any blu-rays yet so I didn't think I need it yet.

Default It's not AnyDVD anyway

Adding HD will not change a thing and AnyDVD has nothing to do with the burning process. What you have is some strange hardware issue.

Thanks Frank
How about DVDRW drivers. Could that be the problem. I am not seeing any problems with any of my other programs or games on either computer and there Devise Managers shows nothing wrong so Windows 7 is happy with what it has.
I will try one on my wife's computer next as it is running XP.
I had never seen this problem before because most of my collection is all old movies before 2012 and they always copied just fine.
If you have any ideas about where to look I would appreciate hearing them.
The first one I saw that failed to write was Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Then the second was Chronicle
