By popular demand and in an attempt to reduce the stress (can I?/can't I?
) of using a license on more than one PC at the same time we have introduced a special coupon to allow existing customers to buy additional, supplemental licenses with a nice discount. This special coupon can be used whenever we are not running a sale or other promotion. To take advantage of this special discount coupon you need only to open a Support ticket and provide your existing license information. Depending on the products and subscription times, the new coupon grants you a 15% discount or a minimum of 10 Euro on your order. ![]() And of course, multiples will get the usual bundle discount. Example: adding AnyDVD and CloneDVD lifetime to another machine with this new coupon saves an additional $20 on top of the $25 bundle discount. So, your mileage may vary but the additional savings makes it worthwhile to add those extra licenses for full-time use.

I have Anydvd lifetime are you saying that if I contact support with my info you will give me a 15% discount on another Anydvd HD lifetime license?
If this is the case I would be better off just waiting for a 20% discount that you have unless I am reading your post wrong? Last edited by BRCS; 13th February 2012 at 11:09. |

The intent is to cover the times in-between sales and we get asked quite often about adding a seat for the new PC upstairs, in the living room, etc. between sales.

Thank you Frank that's what I thought after reading your post again but wouldn't it be better if you offered paying customers a straight 20% discount that have already purchased Slysoft products?

That would be ideal if we could build that into the product directly.
This 15% coupon offer is a short-term solution that does not require any firm license linking in the system. Ideally, we could offer a "purchase" option on the site similar to the present "upgrade to HD" or "renewal" options whereby the process requires an existing license and email address. Depending on how this initial "feeler" bounces we'll look into something along those lines you suggest.

Might work out easier if it could be put into the Slysoft site itself and save someone a whole lot of work.

Good idea and I already thought of that. This may be done if we get enough traffic to warrant the additional selection on the purchase page. That would need an identifying link to ensure the person asking is really an existing license holder.

Have a link for an additional license bundle page and at the link have the person type in their currently registered email address AND their license(s) for the product(s) they want additional licenses. Then check the supplied information against the current user data base and continue the purchase as normal just as new customers do. That way things are as automated as the first time purchases. I know, for me personally, using this or some similar automated method would make it easy for me to get additional license(s) if I really wanted/needed them.
Now how easy or difficult that would be to set up and maintain I can't say, but it would make sense to me. Give me a good slap upside my head if that won't work or doesn't make sense.

I know about this and would prefer a routine similar to the HD upgrade where the task is hooked to an existing license and email address. Thanks for the refresh on the idea anyway.
