Default anydvd7040

why do u see 7040 on web sight but wen you go into forums you see different higher how do i get the newer versions

The main slysoft page shows the release or street version of the software, the forums have "beta" versions for newly released disks or disks that will soon be released.

click on the 7.0.4.7 beta link in the first sticky message it will bring up a download link. click on the download link.

Simply put, a beta is intended for limited access to address recent critical problems on new discs and other acute issues. When this proves to be stable this is phased into a public release. We have been dealing with many new issues in a short time which accounts for the 7 betas since the last formal public release.

Tip: if you are not having any problems there is not need to install a beta.

Default problem with any dvdhd

I have a problem still with my new upgrade anydvdhd not real computer savy had the regular any dvd never really had a problem for i think over 4 years. when i put in the dvd it puts everything in memory just like it used to but when it tries to write it it goes for a while not really doing anything then gives an error message, you told me that it is a writer problem but i can write backup music pics data no problem do i need a blue ray writer or just the regular one that comes with my computer.

It would help somewhat if you would please start your own thread instead of doing the 'me too' stuff.

Your problem is different than the Original Poster's problem.
