Default Slow in Detecting Blue Ray Disc

After inserting a blue ray disk, it takes a long time for AnyDVD HD to detect the disk for the purpose of recording it. Sometimes, it could be an hour or more before it is being recognised.

Using Win 7 64bit. Any ideas how to reduce the detection time? Thanks.

Sounds like your drive might be dying or you have dirty/faulty discs. You could try exiting out of AnyDVD and see how long it takes for Windows to recognize the disc. Also a logfile from one of the disc might be handy

You may also want to try using another/differant sata port(s) , then if you still encounter problems then you may have a possible failing drive as Adbear suggests .
