This morning I turned on my pc and when it booted up i had a message "your trial subscription has expired" for anydvd. I have owned this software for several years now and never had a problem, so I tried to reinstall the keystill the same problem next i uninstalled it and reinstalled the software with the lastest version as of today when i clicked on the key file everything was fine i just had a message you must restart anydvd so i tried to launch it again and the same problem ??? last thing i tried was to uninstall anydvd, clonedvd went in to the registry and deleted anything i could find on either by the way clone dvd is still working perfect. but anyway i set the date back a month rebooted then installed an older version of anydvd and the same thing happeded when i installed the key everything looked ok then i tried to launch anydvd and you guessed it "your trial period has expired" I am lost any ideas ?????????? last thing i have several computers in the house so i tried to insall the software on another computer with the lastest version of anydvd and the same thing happeded. did my key expire? if so why? PLEASE HELP ![]() ![]() ![]() I JUST FOUND SOMEONE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM AS ME AND THE FIX WAS TO CONTACT SLYSOFT BECAUSE THEY WERE PROBABLY BLACKLISTED FOR EITHER GIVEING THE KEY OUT OR HAVEING IT STOLEN. I DONT KEEP THIS COMPUTER CONNECTED TO THE INTERNET THERE IS NO ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE ON IT IT WAS JUST INTENDED FOR BACKING UP MY OWN MOVIES AND THE ONLY PLACE I KEEP MY ORIGINAL KEYS IS ON A CD WITH A IMAGE OF THE PC AND ON MY MEMORY STICK THAT ALMOST NEVER LEAVES MY FILE CABNET IT IS JUST FOR BACKUP PURPOSES SO IF SOMEONE DID GET A COPY OF MY KEY AND POST IT I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO KNOW THAT THAT HAPPEDED AND I WILL ALSO TRY TO FIND OUT HOW THAT COULD HAVE HAPPENED. THE ONLY WAY I CAN GET UPDATES TO MY SOFTWARE IS TO DOWNLOAD IT TO MY MAIN PC AND PUT IT ON AN RW CD OR JUMPDRIVE AND COPY IT OVER. Last edited by dbasista; 8th February 2008 at 17:11. Reason: JUST READ A MESEEAGE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM |

This seems to be happening to several people. A friend of mine has owned AnyDvd for over 3 years and he called me and told me he had the same problem. At the moment he doesn't even have internet service so I don't know how it could have happened.

Another possibility is that he didn't install the update properly. Regardless, your friend should contact Slysoft somehow.
