Default Major Issues

I bought three of the slysoft products, AnyDVD, CloneDVD2 and Clone Mobile. I am getting an error message everytime I try to convert my movies to MV4 format so I can watch them when I travel.

I have contacted the support group, but I cant seem to get any real help. It takes a day for them to get back to me and when they do it is basically a one line reply. I could really use some help.

The last response I got from them, gave me a beta program to use, but that didnt help. I still get the same error reading, except now I can not save the file to send them, it just asks if I want to allow slysoft to see the problem and try to fix it.

I assume the problem is that most of my movies are saved to my hard drive using dvd43 and oneclickpro. But last night I reburned a movie to a disc using all slysoft software and still got the same error at the same location in the movie.

The error reads "The Pipe has ended" "An encoding error has occured". Any suggestion? I really hate to think I wasted 120 bucks.

This is a Forum, not Support. For a first post, most of what you're doing is ranting and complaining about the product. I feel for you, but you've got to supply more stuff than 'An encoding error has occured'. That doesn't mean much, for it could be caused by many different things.

On this Forum, we need more info, like, say, an AnyDVD log file, and/or a CloneDVD mobile text file. What the specs on your PC is different than mine, which is different from the other users of this Forum, and so on.

If you need help, and you've stated that fact, I'd contact Slysoft Support at this link here, pull down the icon for CloneDVD mobile, and please explain in detail what your issue is. Attach info from AnyDVD and CloneDVD mobile if necessary if they send you a e-mail, or attach them to a message at this Forum.

Also, please contact the Support for oneclickpro and dvd43, because those are not a Slysoft product.

Good luck.

I thought about that after I typed it, I am not really complaining as much as I am at a loss as to how to fix my problem. I wish I could post a log, but the beta software does not have a function for that anymore, it simply asks if I want to send the report to slysoft.

As far as DVD43 and Oneclick, There is no need to contact them, their product works as described, My problem is converting my movies to a format I can watch on my tablet, which is why I bought dvdmobile.

I am not sure where to draw the line between support and forum help, I read several other posts and they kind of read like mine, stating a problem and asking for a solution.

The rant part may be my issue with their customer support, it would literally take a month to solve a problem because they dont answer my questions and it takes a day for them to email back.

So my question is does anyone have any advice on something I can do or a situation they have run into that may fix my problem.

Angry Support in stereo is never good

I handling your problem in support and I personally resent your ranting.
I told you to take the beta as we fixed a lot of stuff since 1800 and this error:

ParseVideo, #672 : Garbage in input queue: B5 01 00 00

is known to be caused by non-standard or poorly authored DVDs and one with the label "Video_DVD" points in that direction.

Why didn't you answer my reply in the Support ticket? Sandbagging me here is not appreciated at all.

As for the log

It's in the "help" too if the word "LOG" doesn't ring any bells for you.

Right-click the LOG window content and select "save as....".
Give that file a name like "log.txt" and then attach this to your reply in support.
I will not help you any further here.
I replied to you on the 11th and you did not answer.

I see that Frank did ask you questions, and you didn't respond. If I was you, please take a look at the Slysoft Forum Rules link here.

Please, in the future, be respectful. That goes a long way than posting angry rants.

First let me say that you guys have some thin skin. This was not a rant, but more a cry for help. I am not a tech savvy person, so I answered your questions as best as possible. I was at a loss as to why my brothers software worked so well and mine did not.

The criticism I had was how long it took to get what little advice you gave me. I was not aware this was such a small operation. Had I known that I would have been much more understanding.

The software is excellent, the best I have used so far, it was highly recommended by several people including family. None of them have had a bit of problem with the software. In fact now I now what the problem is, I ripped my DVDs with another program that apparently made then bad burns. When I got a couple of them out of the attic and ripped them to the hard drive with all slysoft software the process worked fine.

This may be something you note from here forward, you may want to ask if they used another program to rip it to their hard drive, if so that may be the problem.

I apologize if I offended you but you must realize that after 5 days of emails which amounted to 5 emails and 5 replies, and no closer to finding the issue that anyone would get frustrated.

Anyway, hopefully you can find a solution to not being able to use clonedvdmobile after using other software to rip as I have about 350 movies on my hard drive and countless hours of ripping that I would love to not have to repeat.

Default I told you this too

The error you are getting indicates the VIDEO_TS is no longer fitting to the expected standard.

You told me in Support you tried a "real" DVD and it worked great.
Nobody really expects that some other authoring tool is clobbering the video file properties.

You neglected to clearly tell us that this error is happening only on those VIDEO_TS folders on the HDD.

There is no magic button for fixing this. Sorry.

If you used the latest beta and were asked to send a report (and you allowed that transmission) then please tell me the title of your DVD (or add a marker in the TITLE field so I can find it) - whatever you prefer.

All transmissions are anonymous, I cannot determine the problematic DVD myself.

I think it may have been Frank who was Helping me, but the confusion seemed to be that these are movies saved to my hard drive not from the original disc. When i convert them from the original discs they do fine.

The problem, apparently is that until last week I was using Oneclickpro and dvd43 to back up my discs to my hard drive. Everyone else I know usues all slysoft products so i wasnt sure why mine wasnt working and theirs were, seems the problem is in using other software to rip to hard drives.

While the issue is not resolved, the problem is figured out. Hopefully in the future you fine folks can figure out how to fix this for all of us who got suckered into using other products than slysoft.
