Default Problems with license key

Hi,

I bought AnyDVD un April 2010 and upgraded to Any DVD HD in August 2011.

After I updated from Win XP to Win 7, I installed the latest Version of AnyDVD "SetupAnyDVD7050.exe", restarted the PC and started my "AnyDVDHD_Key_1310xxxx.AnyDVDHD" (x are Numbers)

But still the Program claims to be a test version!

What can I do?

Try turning off user terror (aka user account control)

Once done restart machine and re-register the key and let us know if it works.

Hi Hawk,

THX for your fast reply. It works with version 6.5.2.3. But as soon as I install the latest version 7.0.5.0, turning off the user account control doesn't help anymore. Off course the user control was at the lowest level!

Did you purchase a lifetime license or a limited license?

You will need to renew to be able to update and/or qualify for support.

https://secure.slysoft.com/renewal.php and select the option there for AnyDVDHD. Your license expired in April.

And as for the serial numbers: yours is in the KEY file name.

Hi Frank,

sorry, but that can't be. As I bought the HD license on 1. August 2011 the invcoice displays "1 AnyDVD Upgrade (2 years) 33.00".

Yes, I see that, but that has nothing to do with the timed license.
Your upgrade from August 2011 was for two years, BUT that time is overlaid over the existing license time (April 2010 - April 2012) and not starting off from the date when you did the upgrade. So your license expired on April 2.
The better deal would have been to do the upgrade AND the renewal at the same time and extend into the future with the best value being to lifetime.

As previously suggested, see "11" / "12" here:

Hi Frank,

THX for the explanation, but now I feel really taken by Slysoft. My feeling is, that I got laid by Slysoft!

As I paid for the HD License and read "2 years", to me it sounded like 2 more years; obviously Slysoft meant meant 8 months. Unfortunately I read this strange interpretation neither on the invoice, nor in the licenses agreements I signed with the upgrade.

Well however, I can live with the 6.5.x Version. Further on, if someone will ask me for a DVD ripper SW they will certainly not hear "AnyDVD" from me.

The "upgrade" process has nothing to do with the renewal and for that amount of money you get continued use of the product at the pre-expiry date level but as "HD".
So from August 2011 to April 2012 you got HD use for under 30 EURO. And, BTW, we showed you in clear text that NOT adding more time to the license showed the original expiry date in April 2012. That should have given you the clue to "add time" and that for 30 EURO we would not be adding another two years.

Now, if you had wanted a "renewal" on top past April 2012 then you could have extended the time additionally on the upgrade page.

And as far as I know, other SW companies terminate your license when the time is up and will not allow continued use.
