Default AnyDVD 6.3.1.5 - Suddenly my key doesn't work

For a few years I have been a satisfied user of AnyDVD; I have had no problems until now. I have just downloaded and installed upgrade 6315 but when I tried to run it I get the message "Trial Information; your trial priod has expired". I ran my "registration key" but I still get the same message. Numerousl previous upgrades have worked without problem.

I am also a long term satisfied owner of Clone DVD, Clone DVD Mobile and Clone CD.

Can anyone help me?

It's possible your key was blacklisted. This isn't an accusation that you did any purposely wrong. Please refer to the following thread by Tom and contact Slysoft Support: http://forum.slysoft.com/showthread.php?t=12115.

Default reply to 6.3.1.5 suddenly my key doesn't work.

Having the same problem after installing 6.3.1.5. I have contacted customer support and am awaiting their reply. I'm sure it's a glitch that they'll have to fix with another update.

If you have installed your keys correctly, and you still get "your trial period has ended messages", then it seems that your license keys have been blacklisted. License keys usually are blacklisted when they've been shared on cracker sites or in file sharing communities like Limewire, BitTorrent, eMule, etc., or has been sold in eBay etc.

Please contact SlySoft support at http://www.slysoft.com/contact.html and ask for a key replacement. To identify your order you have to submit at least your email address (used in your original order), your full name and serial#.

To make sure the replacement keys will not be blacklisted again, please
  • don't share your keys with other people
  • make sure the folder you save your license keys is not within your shared folders when using file sharing tools
  • never sell or buy license keys in eBay etc.

I would like to respectfully disagree that this is a blacklist issue. I reinstalled my old version (6.3.1.2) and my license key still works just fine with that.

Has anyone learned anything more about this issue since the release of 6.3.1.5?

that's because the blacklisting list has been updated (to include your key and other blacklisted keys) in the latest version of anydvd.

You can disagree all you want that your key may have been blacklisted but have you contacted Slysoft Support? They are the ones who can help resolve the problem.

Yes, I did contact support as was mentioned in an earlier post and I have sent the appropriate info to them requesting a key replacement. I also asked the question of them as to whether this could be a bug in the update, or not.

If I learn anything from that, I will post back.
