Default Can't backup Lissy und der wilde Kaiser
Hi,
i just got "Lissy und der wilde Kaiser" from our DVD Shop. But even AnyDVD 6.3.1.7 alone or together with actual CloneDVD isn't able to backup this disc. (Setting of AI scanner doesn't matter) CloneDVD tries to repair DVD structure but end's up with an error "...contact Slysoft..." AnyDVD Ripper ends up with "CloneMap 2".
Any hints???

Is this a German release? I notice the disc is Region 2.

I'll send a Private Message to James and peer. That does not necessarily mean that they will reply.

But it seems to me as though Anydvd can't handle this disc currently.

Also, can you please provide the full error message from Clonedvd? Click "details".

Hi Webslinger,
First - Yes, it's a german release.
Second - When CloneDVD ends up trying to repair the DVD structure, i got (within the preview window - original in german so i've to translate ;-))) "Unexpected error - please be sure all files are available.... and at the end of the screen [IFO properties 6]. Clicking Next...Next... then, ends up with the details window saying "CloneMap 1 TCE" BTW: the same result when trying to copy the main movie only without menu and all the extra stuff.

Thank you, Webslinger, you are the best, as usual!

I just spoke to Peer.

This is a German movie, so we have to order it in Germany, which we did.
The official release date of this movie is March, 13th and we expect it to take a few days of shipping to Antigua. However, we are collecting all information available at the moment.

Right now, we are waiting for a CloneDVD 2.9.1.5 log and a screenshot of the error message CloneDVD issues after trying to repair the DVD structure. If you hit cancel, CloneDVD should issue a window where you can click onto "details", that is what we are waiting for at the moment.
However, we kindly ask you for a little bit of patience and we are looking forward to the next release.

Can you post the Clonedvd log, please?

You should be able to copy and paste the log text with your mouse.

the screen shows no information in the snapshot window and - as i noticed this time - in the previous window, thre is no quality bar. As you can see, the error happens very early, so there is no information in any window.

There is a freeware application called HoverSnap that will allow you to do screen captures. It will capture full screen, just the active window, or an area you define by dragging the mouse.
