Default WriteDVD 10 11 W2

I have been having these same problems. I have went through all of the threads and tried almost everything and nothing seems to work. Here is my problem.

I get this error WriteDVD 10 11 W2.
I don't have Music Match Jukebox and I never have had it, I checked for mimboot or mim in the registry values that were listed and nope I don't have that problem. I also don't have Pinnacle which in some threads also was a problem.
I followed another thread and updated my IDE busmaster driver, that still didn't work.
I checked my upper and lower filters and here is the results I got when I ran the filter check:
Filter Check Tool v3.4

No Upper Filters found.

A Lower Filter found is: AnyDVD
Filterdriver properties are:

I have also been using Maxell, Sony, Imation, and Verbatim DVD+R without any of them working.
I can burn using Nero perfectly without problems.
I am using the newest versions of CloneDVD2 2.9.0.3 and AnyDVD 6.1.2.5, I update them regularly.

I really like using CloneDVD and AnyDVD and don't want to find a new program considering I already paid for these programs.

If anyone could help me if would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

1. I have updated anydvd and clonedvd
2. I am not totally positive what packet writing software is? But the only other burn program I have installed is Nero and NetMd.
3. Clonedvd 6.9.0.3 and Anydvd 6.1.2.5
4. I am experiencing this problem with several different dvd's Sony, Verbatim, Imation, and Maxell all DVD+R.
5. I am operating windows xp home version and I have service pack 2, D: DVD+RW RW5240 (rev 1.12) ( this is what clonedvd says under DVD Writer)
6. I have recently tried Maxell DVD+R, 4.7gb, 2 hours sp mode, up to 16x
7. I am burning at 4x speed
I hope this is all of the information that you needed.
Oh by the way I have a Northgate computer
Thank you for any help you can provide!

Packet writing software is basically software that lets you drag and drop files, much like a floppy drive. Nero's packet writing software is called Incd. If you have incd on your system, please uninstall it.

Below you mention you have a Ricoh RW5240A burner, with what I believe is old firmware version.

This burner, from what I can gather, is old and writes +R media at 4x max

1. Update your burner's firmware.
2. Do not buy high speed media, if it's especially sold as "16x"
3. Select no higher than a 4x burn speed (if that is indeed the max your burner will burn with)

Try Verbatim (CMC) or Taiyo Yuden. The only Maxell series of blanks to be looking at are the Maxell Plus or Maxell Broadcast Quality line. Stay away from Maxell otherwise.

Please read this fully:

Default Firmware upgrade

I have seen a lot of people saying they have upgraded their firmware, however I am not sure how to do this and where to even find it? DVD+R RW5240. You have said it was a ricoh? Mine doesn't have an A next to it though? How can I find out exactly what the name of my burner is and where to upgrade it at? Thank you for all of your help so far!

That is the firmware upgrade for your drive, download it, double click on it and follow instructions.
