Edit the profile and select advanced options. Make sure "Game Management" is disabled. Or... if you need to recreate the profile, this can be turned off in step 4 of the profile wizard.

FYI this should be off by default... I will take a look as this may be a bug in this release.

Ok... try this.

1) Edit the profile and uncheck auto start (the game will no longer launch when the profile starts).
2) Start the profile.
3) Start the game and see if the message appears.

Let me know how this goes.

Also... I need to get a hold of this game and run some tests.

I have the same problem, the emulation detected message only appears if GJ is running, if i exit/disable GJ the game will launch without issue using the game disc (DVD), as soon as i start/enable GJ the game refuses to run showing the above emulation detected message, this is also using the game disc, so as you can see, GJ is being detected as emulation software and the game then refuses to run, this means that it is impossible (at the moment) to create a working GJ profile for this game.

I will look forward to an update to GJ that addresses this issue as my kids love The Sims 2 game set and i hate them ruining the game discs.

Yes... we have also confirmed this and are sorting it out this very minute. We should have v3.1.0.5 up in the next day or so.
