- Updated with v3.2.0.6 client. - Added new "Delete multiple" option to delete the same profile form a number of servers. - Minor update to manager interface. - Much improved service support. Starting a user mode instance of Game Jackal will automatically shutdown the service instance (and vice-verse). - New service notification icon can now be installed with the client. This displays the status of the Game Jackal service instance. http://static.slysoft.com/GJEnterprise.zip Last edited by matthew; 24th December 2009 at 19:49. |

Enterprise manager tool is labelled up as v3.1 in all the documentation and the installer, but returns v3.0 in it's about box after install ... nothing major but could cause confusion later or in bug reporting

I get an error when the new EE Manager is trying to read v3.1.0.3 clients...
![]() Also, I tried twice yesterday using the bulk copy option for profiles using the new EE manager from a PC with v3.1.1.2 enterprise to v3.1.1.5 and whilst it went through the motions of doing everything (and took about an hour) no profiles appeared on the destination machine. Any ideas? |

Just a quick update - I totally removed GJ from the new PC and re-installed v3.1.1.2 EE - bulk copy option still wouldn't work (went through the motions but nothing actually showed up on the destination machine)
When I tried to copy individual profiles, they appeared on the destination machine but wouldn't work (asked for CD/DVD) even though they work fine on the source machine. Another weird thing that happened today was that the PC that had the original profiles on crashed today whilst profiling a new game and upon reboot, GJ had lost all the profiles on that machine (I've got one of my staff members that isn't a happy bunny at the moment) Any ideas? |

First up... EE v3.1.1.2 should only be used with v3.1.1.2 - v3.1.1.5 clients. The GJ Pro installer should throw an error if it detects an incompatible EE plugin.
If you find profile have disappeared, you can restore the profile library by replacing the maplom.lib file with one of the backups. These are named as maplom.lib_x with x being a number. 1 is the most recent and 5 the oldest. The first (and most important) thing is to backup all maplom.lib and maplom.lib_x files as they will be overwritten each time GJ is restarted. Then you simply replace maplom.lib with one of the backups (while GJ is shutdown) and then start GJ to see if the library has returned. Finally if a distributed profile is not working, try and create a profile on the client to ensure GJ is running correctly. Regarding the bulking copy, are there any errors in the log?

ON the Slysoft Homepage it still says "3.1.1.2", even though the changelog has been updated and you download the right version.
