I get no audio when playing BluRay disc "Baby Mama" on my system.
I have AnyDVD HD 6.4.7.9 and PowerDVD 8 I have tried playing the disc with and without AnyDVD enabled and have also tried playing an ISO made by ImageBurn with and without AnyDVD enabled. I get no audio in any of the four above mentioned configurations. PowerDVD 8 will start the disc and ISO up fine and has audio while the BluRay splash screen and menus are displayed. Does this with AnyDVD enabled as well. When the movie starts there is no audio. If I go into the configuration menu on PowerDVD 8, the audio tab is missing. If I go into the configuration menu prior to the movie starting, (On menu screen) the audio tab is there. This is the first and only BluRay I have had this problem with. Any ideas? |

This isn't an Anydvd issue. Anydvd doesn't touch audio.
Moving thread to High Definition Software forum . . .

Try updating PDVD to 2217 as some films didn't have audio when played in 2021a

OK, I did as you suggested any upgraded to PDVD 2117. Now BluRay's wont play at all. I get "There is a disc with an unsupported format in drive D."
This occurs when loading the actual disc or the ISO file with AnyDVD both enabled and disabled. Should this really be this hard?

From CyberLink InstantBurn's packet writing software . . . packet writing software in general is bad news and interferes with a lot of programs including Slysoft's. If you want drag-and-drop functionality, use dvd-ram instead, which is more stable. 1. i) Create a backup of your registry ii) Download imgburn. It's a free program: http://www.imgburn.com/index.php?act=download (it's also an excellent program in my opinion) iii) Go to Tools > Filter Driver Load Order. Select "clbstor". Click "Remove Selected Filter". Click "ok". iv) Reboot Keep in mind whatever program installed that filter may no longer work properly. 2. After rebooting check to ensure clbstor is gone (check using imgburn again)

I have seen this movie with PowerDVD 8, but I don't know exactly which version. AnyDVD HD was enabled for sure, probably a version between 6.4.7.5 and 7.7. No problems at all, so it's not the movie.
