Default Memorex Gold

WHAT ABOUT MEMOREX GOLD? I use Verbatim for all of my DVD burns, but I bought some really high quality Memorex Gold for special occasions. Recently, I've had 2 things not play well with the Memorex Gold.

Those could be MAM-A golds if bought in the U.S.

Gold reflective layers tend to have lower reflectivity than silvers, so they won't play back in as many devices. However, Gold is less likely to oxidize and break down. So, in theory, those discs will last longer, but will probably not play in as many devices.

Frankly, I wouldn't buy anything with the Memorex label on it. If I want MAM-A gold, I'll buy MAM-A gold without the Memorex label on it.
