Yeah, I think the companies chose the right time to introduce the BD+ variant to save them money for christmas, or it least they think
Would be a great present if Slysoft is able to fix it this year

It appears it just more than BD+, AACS can't be removed either. If my memory serve me correct if it is trial it will say trial version are not allowed to connect to update server. But it doesn't show that message. Could it be new version of MKB, don't know for sure perhaps James or Peer can shed some light on it.

Never Mind from log of anydvd
Change (Blu-ray): AnyDVD will disable itself, if BD+ can't be removed
