Media Player that downconverts

Hello all,

Powerdvd has an option to downconvert all streams to dts from the disc. I am looking for a media player that plays files from the hard drive and converts all streams to dts just like powerdvd but from the hardrive instead of disc. Powerdvd has an option to open files from hardrive but I can't seem to get it to work. Any recommendations?

As far as I'm aware there isn't one, powerdvd doesn't downconvert as such, it just plays the DTS core from the DTSHD track, and will only decode it in disc mode not in file mode. Most players will not play back the HD audio track in file mode a they don't have a decoder available to use
