I don't know what the WD HD TV can and can't do, but I'm sure it can't play Blu-Ray ISOs or Blu-Rays off the hard drive like the TVIX or Popcorn Hour 200 can. The chapter information is stored in the .MPLS (playlist), as the .M2TS is (like the name suggests) only a transport stream. You might want to explore other container formats (MKV for example) that the WD can play and will support chapter points.

Hello Everyone. I'm hoping to hear if anyone has successfully used AnyDVD + Clown_BD to rip to BDMV (Blu-ray file format) and play back using Sagetv's hardware frontend.
For me it crashes the HD200 during playback, requiring a power reset (Coralline and Watchmen) I'm using Vista, and latest versions of Everything (older versions also did not work) Playback works with straight AnyDVD rips. |

I have been converting my Blu-rays to movie only m2ts files using Clown BD. I've been playing the files on my HD200 & my HTPC running the SageTV app. Works great. I can now watch my movies by clicking on the cover art in SageTV..
I am using the latest stable version of SageTV & the latest version of firmware for the HD200. I am not running any beta software from Sage.

Thanks for replying. I gave that a try and it still crashed. I updated the HD200 firmware to the latest non-beta, and Sage is not using any addons or beta code.
It also crashed the HD200 in stand alone mode, as well as the HD100. The same file played OK on the WD TV Live, coming from the same file server. |

Hi guys,
Can someone tell if it's normal -keepDialnorm is not being added for each ac3 track ? It looks like it's just being added once in the meta file while it's required for each track concerned and only one track is keeping the DN stuff ... Anyone knowing a tool to set the DN level back to whatever we want, without enconding the audio ? Thanks Edit : just ripped another movie and no the -keepDialnorm was used for more tracks, but still, some were "skipped" and got the DN removed Last edited by r4dius; 21st October 2009 at 20:34. |

Hi Mike, and everyone on this forum.
This is my first post. I've tried for more than 2 months to convert a Japanese authored HDDVD into a Blu-ray capable disc with your application. The disc is somewhat unusual, it has 32 evo files instead of the usual 2 or 3... The issue I have is that I'm not sure how to proceed with the 32 evo files. Do I need to join them into a single file first or can I demux them individually? Attached is a screen grab of the disc. It's a Japanese authored HDDVD from a well known Jazz musician, Lee Ritenour and his concert Overtime, purchased from Japan. The HD video is 1080i 59.94i encoded in H264. There are 3 audio streams: Dolby TrueHD 2.0, Dolby TrueHD 5.1 and DTS-HD Master 5.1 I've tried Clown BD directly from the disc using AnyDVDHD and also ripped the disc to the harddisk first. Using the option BD/HDDVD the structure wasn't recognized. So I used EVO as source instead, but the application won't do batch process for all 30 evo files. I've tried several applications, TSMuxer(1.10.6), evodemux(62 , ToNMT(6.0.5), HD-DVD/Blu-ray Stream Extractor,...I have licensed purchased copy of Vegas Pro and dvd Architect. What I would like to achieve is to rip the concert with the DTS Master audio to a Blu-ray Disc. Or even if I can get a single HD movie track with the DTS converted to 5.1 PCM tracks, I could re-author in Vegas Pro or DVD architect. Can anyone advise on how to proceed or is anyone willing to do this for me in exchange for the HD concert content? |

I think you're stuck. This is what I'd do:
In DOS mode (in path "E:\AnyDVD HD Rips\VAHD_1002\HVDVD_TS\") eac3to HV001M001.evo | HV001M002.evo | * -demux * = repeat for each of the 30 at the end you should have 3 files, now bring them into tsMuxeR.
