Here is the forced .sup files (zipped). I attached a screen shot of the files Clown_BD creates. It looks the same to me as a succesfull M2TS rip except that it ends with a MPEG2 file.
I don't know how to use TSMuxeRGUI but I'll do my best to report back what happens. |

I downloaded tsMuxerGUI and ripped the movie with it. It successfully created a M2TS file. I had no errors. I did a screen capture of the last step.
I have played the resulting M2TS file/movie and everything is working as it should. I copied the screen and meta file for you. Then I re-ran Clown_BD but it again failed to create a M2TS file. I just get a mpeg2 file. I'm going to try again this time I will unselect all of the audio choices except AC3. Last edited by CountryBumkin; 8th June 2011 at 19:10. |

Tried again with only AC3 selected but it still didn't create a M2TS file.
Since I got the M2TS file I wanted from tsMuxerGUI I'm going to give up on this and move on to other BD movies I still want to rip. I think this problem is just do to it being an odd ball Chinese made movie. Mike_r if you want to figure this out, I will be happy to continue trying out your ideas. Otherwise, thanks for you help. |

Well, I tried EVODemux, but it becomes non-responsive while demuxing and stays that way for ages...

I don't copy straight to the desktop. I create a new folder on the desktop with the name of the movie. After the Clown_BD "M2ts" file is created, I move the M2ts file to another drive where I store all my rips. Then I delete the folder on the desktop (along with all of the other files/logs in that folder created during the rip).
Is there anything wrong with this method? |

Sorry, this is not the answer to precedent question, but you will forgive me because it's my first time in this forum.

I have a bit of a technical question about ClownBD:
I just bought a D-Box system. This is a motion controlled chair that has an external decoder. This decoder (D-Box MCI-2P) must be feeded with the CORE/Regular DD/DTS signal in order to communicate with the motion platform installed under the seating. (the D-Box decoder does not have an HDMI input/output). So a couple of smart guys found a way to enjoy BOTH high-res audio (DTS-MA and True-HD) and have d-box work at the same time. This is achieved with the use of a Dune Media player (there are more players that can do the job but I bought the Dune HD player). This player has both a Optical and HDMI output, but more important: is support audio output over both these outputs simultaneously. So my D-Box decoder is feed with the Optical (lossy) signal while my AVR gets the lossless audio with the HDMI. Ok, so far no questions? Let s move on:I buy all my Blu-Ray discs in the US while I live in the Netherlands myself. So I want dutch subtitles. The Dune Smart HD player support external .srt subtitles but NOT for BDMV structure folders. So there is my friend ClownBD : With this program I can rip my Blu-Ray discs to my HDD and play them with the Dune network player AND add subtitles to my .m2ts files (which I made with ClownBD). All my Blu-Rays that contain a DTS-MA signal are played fine: with this I mean that my D-Box decoder receives the core signal through the Optical output of the Dune and my AVR plays back the DTS-MA signal throught the HDMI output of the Dune. But the problem comes with True-HD Blu-Rays. When I rip them with ClownBD something goes wrong that results in my D-Box decoder not picking up the core True-HD signal (my AVR plays True-HD fine at that moment). The original Blu-Ray discs syncs fine with the D-Box decoder so something goes wrong while ripping my Blu-Ray. I also tried to convert my Blu-Ray with a True-HD signal to a BD structure folder with ClownBD (BDMV) to make sure it s not a problem with converting to .m2ts. Also no result: the core signal get s lost or altered in some way. I also know that it has something to do with DTS-MA and True-HD are different packages (I thought that DTS-MA always contains a core signal while with True-HD it are two separate signals but I m not sure, correct me if I m wrong).I hope you guys understand what I want and have a solution for this problem. If you're playing a TrueHD movie only via the optical, do you get sound? Reason for asking is that the Sigma SDK (used by my PCH C-200) contained a bug until recently where the AC3 core was not able to be processed (so I had to use ClownBD NMT mode to mux an AC3 track seperately with each remux for compatibility purposes).
I would assume the Dune also features the same bug, with the firmware being built on the same SDK. The only thing I can think of would be to convert the audio to DTS-HD which requires the Master Audio encoding suit, which is very expensive. Cheers, -jj- |
