I guess I'm just reporting that not everything has been worked around yet - unless you include manually shutting down AnyDVD as part of the work-around.

Hope you can come to grips with this soon. I like it when AnyDVD knows when to start - i.e. whenever I insert a DVD. What would be really really nice is if it could go back in hibernation when the DVD drive is empty. In any case - must stop causing system problems.

Shutdown problems are often due to conflicts with respect to running background processes that are causing conflicts on your system.
