Default verbatim duel layer or double layer???

I was thinking about getting some DL disks, I buy from Meritline.
some of the disks descriptions say "double layer"
some say duel layer
some say duel layer/double layer.
Is there some kind of difference

Supposedly Duel Layer is reserved for DVD-R and the term
Double Layer is used on the DVD+R format.

That said.... ads play fast and loose with the terms.

@ maddogvic,

DVD-R DL Media is called Dual Layer Media

DVD+R DL Media is called Double Layer Media

Suggest referring to the below Web Links for amplifying information ->

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DVD-R_DL

Coaster
