Is there some sort of program that will uninstall pieces of leftover installations.
My first installment was interrupted. I installed Anydvd correctly without problem. The first install stills opens when I boot my 'puter. I can not find a way to eliminate it. I have tried different disc cleaners and registry cleaners. I have attempted, several times to uninstall and delete all Anydvd files I can find. No help. The problem is not critical as it does not seem to interfere with the operation of my 'puter. But...it is annoying. Any help? |

Just reinstall AnyDVD over the top again. That will fix anything "wrong".

I reinstalled over the problem. That is why I now have a working program.
I have uninstalled and re-installed numerous times. I have updated to current version also. I did all of that before posting. The license agreement still appears when I boot. I am left with two options as I see it. Live with it. Do a complete re-install of Windows and all of my applications. This is not a viable option. Is there an utility I can run, such as for Nero that will eliminate any registry entries that may be causing this problem? |

This clearly means that there is some leftover which will not be removed by the uninstaller and which is not detected as unneeded by CCleaner and similar tools. But this is, of course, intentional. If your question aimed at resetting the trail period, you won't an answer here.

If you do the normal uninstall and delete C:\Program Files\Slysoft you're gonna get all that you're supposed to get off your machine. The information about the 21 day trial is (of course) permanent and classified. If it ever got out - they'd just change it on the next version anyway. This is a company that does encyption for a living. ![]() -W |
