Default [Resolved] Another X-Files: I Want to Believe Problem

Once the disc has scanned, I open up PowerDVD and play the disc, the screen stays blank for a long time, then finally comes up asking if I want to download BD-Live updates, I click No, then the disc appears to load further, (FBI Warnings etc), but then it just goes black again.

Log File Attached

side question - is it possible to have the Cyberlink PowerDVD screenshot button appear with an updated AnyDVD HD, some sites say it lights up for them, but it just dissapears for me. I have powerDVD 8.0.2217.a.00
Attached Files
File Type: zip AnyDVD_Info_E_X_FILES_2_AUS.zip (446.9 KB, 9 views)

It looks like bad disc to me.

Also In future please put in correct forum. Anydvd Hd is not the problem here. Should be in high defintion forum. (Mod will move for know, in future do put in correct thread).

You can try downscale version or old version of powerdvd to play. Also try another player as well.

Yes it is (or a dirty disc or a bad drive).

Ok, I took a closer look at the disc, and there was a mark on it, so I cleaned the disc and it plays now.

I put this in the AnyDVD HD forum as I didnt know it was a Disc error.

The Anydvd HD forum was the correct forum to post in.

The read error is being generated by Anydvd HD--not another program. This thread belongs in the Anydvd HD forum.
