Default AutoPlay for AnyDVD

Is it possible to have AnyDVD automatically rip DVD's when inserted into my DVD drive?

At present there is no built-in ability to do this and I don't expect that there ever will but it's always possible.

You mean a " No Click" option?

To clarify my statement as to why there will likely never be such an option, we need to remember that AnyDVD was never meant to be a ripper. The AnyDVD ripper was added later for specific reasons but that isn't the purpose of the program, itself. AnyDVD is a decrypter. It's not the place of AnyDVD to be go anywhere near AutoPlay functionality for ripping.

Quite correct, and there are probably many more of us that use it for protection removal only, than a ripper. For us, it would be a real pain to have to try and stop it.

People forget (or don't realize) that AnyDVD had the ripper option added (for the most part) to appease the Shrink fans.

LIke he said... Give them some credit.
A checkbox that was by default unchecked - would not add to your "real pain".

And "appease Shrink fans" is a bit of a spin there skippy.
WhenSaw3 came out, AnyDVD lost the ability to remove all structural copy protection "on the fly". Shrink users were the most affected by this development, as were people who used Windows Explorer to just rip to a folder.

The AnyDVD ripper was the "workaround" to fix this. It was iether that or let AnyDVD take 20 minutes to scan a disk.

I believe I added the (for the most part) for 1 or 2 exceptions. But the main reason the ripper was added was to let all the Shrink fans (like you) continue to use Shrink that could not handle structural protections (and still can't). It was a 2 step process of CloneDVD to rip then Shrink. That is not spin.

The AnyDVD ripper was added as a workaround and it was most definitely added as a result of the collective cries of the DVD Shrink community. I simply was avoiding making that statement and a few others when I said it was added for "specific reasons". Let's not quibble over trivialities.
