I normally rip my DVD's with the option ".vob passthrough" and select the desired language (audio stream) in the next step before I let CloneDVD mobile rip the DVD to a large .vob file (3.5 - 4.5 GB).
I play the ripped films using MCE/MyMovies on PS3, Linksys DMA2200 or directly on the MCE-PC with either VLC or CyberLink Power DVD. All VOB's play well except when streamed on Linksys DMA2200. In about 50% of the cases I do not get any sound. The film itself plays well. Has anybody got an idea how to solve my problem for the DMA2200? Thanks in advance. C. |

Found the solution:http://unmitigatedrisk.com/archive/2007/08/04/96.aspx You can also use DVDDecrypter and remap the soundtrack to 0x80. 0x80 is the standard audio stream address which will play on DMA2200 and PS3. Last edited by chariah; 23rd September 2009 at 16:23. |
