Default Cyclic Redunancy Error

Hi

Can anyone tell me why with many DVD's I try to back up I get an error message "Cyclic Redundancy Error"?

This usually occurs after a few minutes of doing the back up and the whole process ceases.

Cyclic Redundancy Errors are caused by bad media i.e. dirty and scratched discs
are usually the culprits of this sort of stuff. CRE's can be a nightmare at times
