MacBeth (1979) starring Ian McKellen

I have a copy of MacBeth that I am trying to copy. It was produced in 1979 and starred Ian McKellen. This thing starts out with the process and bombs out around 41%. I have tried and tried and am nearly throwng the arms up, at this one. I have cleaned this disk, updated the soft ware, checked and re installed drivers, and used three other machines on this thing, with the same results. Pretty frustrating.

That error message typically indicates a bad original disc even if it plays fine.
But you haven't provided all of the requested information yet.
