Default [Resolved] Problem ripping Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer

I am able to rip the Fantastic Four Rise of the Silver Surfer blu-ray using ClownBD with no errors, but the ripped file is completely pixelated in VLC Media Player. Note that I have ripped over a dozen other blu-rays successfully and all play flawlessly in VLC. Is there something unique about this disc that requires special settings? I also tried ripping to an image directly with AnyDVD HD, but get the same results. Log file attached. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you able to play the Blu-Ray without AnyDVD? Do you pixellation then?

Where is this Blu-Ray from (which country). Can you please post the barcode number from the back of the cover?

The disc plays flawlessly on my computer and in standalone players. The Blu-ray is a US disc. Barcode 02454347104280. Also, don't know if this helps, but when I say during playback the picture of the ripped file is pixelated, I mean it is completely "torn apart". You can barely even make out what you're looking at. Thanks.

At least now we know, that it isn't an AnyDVD problem.

So, I use the AnyDVD Ripper, and the ripped file is unwatchable, and it's not an AnyDVD problem? Any hints on where I should be looking? Nothing in the log file gave any clues?

If AnyDVD HD is running in the background and there isn't a problem with playback directly from the BD drive then there shouldn't be a problem if you rip the BD to your HDD with the protection removed. Either way, AnyDVD HD is removing the protections. I'd try viewing the material using a software player such as PowerDVD or Total MediaTheatre. You'll need to use ISOs for PowerDVD and they can be mounted using Virtual CloneDrive. The problem you are experiencing could be with VLC.

I stand corrected! My ripped file plays fine when streamed to a PS3! Must be a problem with VLC. You guys are great! I am truly humbled
