Default Skip on Error?

I have the latest versions of AnyDVD HD and also CloneDVD on my XP SP3 system. I recently purchased a boxed set of DVDs which I think originated in China and are written on poor quality media which does not play reliably on my DVD player.
I am trying to copy these DVDs as the copies, when they work, play fine.
One, however, has a defect right at the end, in the final credits, that is causing the initial read to stop with an error. Is there any way to get CloneDVD to skip on error, or ignore error, so that I can complete the disk copy?
I have tried reading on both my internal DVD writer, and also a different USB connected DVD writer, and the disk has been cleaned and is spotless.
I'm sure the problem is with the source media, as I can see defects in the layer, and am trying to contact the supplier for replacements, but so far without success.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

You can't do much if the dvd is already of bad quality bad is bad...not amount of what you do will fix it. They the source in china has to improve their manufacture quality otherwise it is just junk media. What your asking is a confusing question are you taking about blank media or burned media? What your asking sounds like two parts of different media being asked together and there no way to differentiate what your asking about??

Default Clarification.

I am copying from source DVDs of poor quality. CloneDVD reports a read error and has no obvious functionality to "skip past" the error.
My specific question is:

"Is there any way to get CloneDVD to skip past a read error and continue reading" ??

Default Possible solution, but not sure

[/QUOTE] I'm sure I'll be corrected if I'm wrong on this. I know there is a feature in CloneDVD that allows you to modify the starting and stopping point of the movie. You simply drag a point at the end of the movie to make the change. If you don't mind losing the end credits, you could try altering the ending point of the movie and maybe that might do the trick by avoiding the read error altogether. Now I've not tried this myself, so I can't say for sure that's how this feature works, but by writing the movie to the hdd only, you could see if it works. This being only guess-work, I'm sorry if it doesn't work. To access the option... While you are on the page of CloneDVD which shows all movie titles, select the movie. The left side of the page must be set to display slapshots of the movie. Down at the bottom there is a progress bar and at the right end of that is an icon. Clicking the icon will make the end and start pointers appear. Drag the end pointer to the right, then proced with CloneDVD as you usually would. I'm appreciate hearing should this work out.
