Main movie only. When I do the whole disk I use CloneCD and a +R DL, flawless every time. Want me to try transcoding the whole disc?

No.. we're OK now.
Doing the Main Movie only works most of the time with DVDShrink and AnyDVD in the background. But we have no way of guessing which ones won't work. Therefore we tell everybody to rip with AnyDVD first anytime structural protections are reported. No fuss.. no guesswork.. no mess. Remember... the objective here is to solve and prevent problems. I personally have a fairly good instinct as to which structurally protected disks do or don't require a full disk AnyDVD rip just to get the Main Movie out with Shrink. But I can't teach instinct for short cuts. I can only teach correct safe procedure. -W Last edited by Clams; 21st March 2010 at 12:52. |

That is for sure the best advice and I will continue to give that advice as well. I was just wondering if AnyDVD had changed during its evloution to 6.6.3.0, didn't intend to confuse the issue.

Nope... seems you just hit a streak of them that work OK with Main Movie only.
Also remember that (for whatever reason) discussions here seem to default to a full disk backup unless otherwise noted. That's why it took me so long to catch on that you were Main Movie only. -W |
