Just curious if there is an Anydvd vsn 6.6.4.2. Never encountered this before. Don't remember but aren't you supposed to be able to choose which one you are after? Right now, clicking on Anydvd does get you SetupAnyDVD6642 but it installed as HD a second time. A normal update of Anydvd does not call for a computer restart, however the unintentional "HD" version did. Anyone else encountering this problem?

The same installer is used for both
AnyDVD and
AnyDVD HD and they will always share the same version numbering. The part that decides which version you have is your license for the program. The
HD license isn't the same as the standard license. With regard to the restart after updating, I've needed to reboot after updating for quite some time now and that shouldn't be spefically related to whether the version a user owns is the normal or
HD version.
There's no reason for people to select to go with the normal or
HD version since your registration is what decides that. Nonetheless, more information is needed to figure out why drives vanish or not. Posting
AnyDVD log files would be a good start to trying to pinpoint any issues.
