Waiting for delivery, but, I have to go out tonight so I don't know if I'll get to it tonight.

Blank back-up disk is a Ritek-BR2-00 burn rate 4.1 single layer BD-R burned with Imgburn.

00002.M2TS (movie only file)
00000.MPLS (playlist file)

FULL DISK BACK-UP
AnyDVD HD 6.6.7.0 all default settings
Imgburn

MOVIE ONLY BACK-UP
No 2 ripping software program (HD audio NOT selected)
Imgburn

Hardware Blu-ray player
Sony BDP-S301 firmware 5.30 (latest)

Feedback from BDinfo
VC-1 video 1080p/23.976fps/16.9/advanced profile3

No problems anywhere disk played fine all the way thru. But, don't plan to do anymore firmware updates on the Blu-ray player. Advertising for Cinavia must be hush/hush could not find the Cinavia logo anywhere on the disk.

Mine hasn't come yet and I have to leave soon. sigh. I plan on doing some very similar tests with my PS3. I've got some verbatim BD-RE SL discs kicking around so I'll use that for a full disc backup. And I'll make an xvid, as well, and stream that to the PS3. Will be fun. I want to check the DVD, as well.

I misunderstood what Peer was saying. I didn't believe it would be but was confused. I also think this crap will be on the DVD, too, but, until I get my copy delivered I can't test any of it.

It's in his post. It says he tried it on a "Sony BDP-S301" with the latest firmware (5.30). However, after a quick Google search, I've found that the latest firmware is actually 5.40 and I can't find any mention that that player currently supports Cinavia anyway. So I'm not sure how useful his testing is at this point.

I got mine but the family wants to watch a movie tonight so it'll be tomorrow before I can test it.

I wonder if The Losers was chosen to be the first Cinavia disc as a joke?
