I watched losers ripped to mkv on my wdtv last night, no problem with it only watched the first 48 minutes fell asleep. I have the wdtv with just the hdmi and optical out, not the live one. I did not upgrade the firmware on it and I just bought it 2 weeks ago from best buy pretty cool little machine.

I've read that it does not contain Cinavia. But confirmation would be nice.

Most encryption schemes are asynchronous in nature, using key pairs (different key to encrypt than to decrypt)

No, older players will play the recordable media as they always have. The sound is (supposedly) unaffected by Cinavia being present.

I'm curious to whether Clash of the Titans will contain Cinavia. Haven't decided if I want to buy that or not. I have the rental and so far I have heard mixed reviews.
