Default burning DL DVD from hard drive

I have tried Clone cd for a duplicating a DVD (works great) but I would like to have the option of burning the DL DVD from a file on my hard drive. Which software would I use for this?

often I rip a DVD to my hard drive and watch the movie on my computer but occasionally I like to burn a backup copy from that file.

If you saved an .iso or image file, then you can use Clonecd. If you save dvd-video files, then use Clonedvd2 ("write existing data") option.

When I burn DL DVD using Clone DVD I run into the layer break issue, so I guess the solution would be to rip it twice once as DVD files and once as an image file.
