Do I need both CloneDVD Mobile and ANYDVD HD?

I want to be able to just rip my Bluray and DVD discs to divx/xvid (and hopefully mkv) to my hard drive for backup/streaming at home. Do I need both AnyDVD HD AND CloneDVD Mobile or will just CloneDVD Mobile be enough?

You'll need AnyDVDHD to pre-process DVDs and BluRays.

CloneDVD mobile will allow you to create a single output file from DVDs with AnyDVD running in the background.

We will soon have a Clone product for doing that for BluRays so at the moment you will need some other product to do that after processing in AnyDVD, be it "rip video...." or "rip to image".

So to use CloneDVDMobile I have to rip to file structure with AnyDVD first. Is that right?

Both for Bluray and DVD?

If you want you can rip using AnyDVD first but that step is not needed. As for Blu-ray CloneDVDMobile will not be able to do anything for that as it only for DVDs hence the name CloneDVDMobile
