Default Green Hornet / AnyDVD 6.8.1.0 - No decrypt

Hi all:

I've seen a lot of Green Hornet threads but I haven't seen one with AnyDVD 6.8.1.0 or higher (beta). Sorry if I missed one and there is a solution already.

AnyDVD never completes scanning the disc. No error, just infinite scanning and obviously no decrypting. Attached is the log I created. No issues with other (older) discs. Just poking around I enabled Aggressive I/O Mode but no change in behavior.

Thanks!

And in all those threads you did not see that this disc can be simply bad?
This has been off the radar a long time so you can usually assume it's not a protection issue and with this in your log:

6.55s: read sectors failed, sense 3:11:5
12.54s: read sectors failed, sense 3:11:5
18.56s: read sectors failed, sense 3:11:5
24.84s: read sectors failed, sense 3:11:5
...68 more...

18.56s: read error 523802 to 523818, max 4079264, io->read_error 0
36.85s: read error 523802 to 523803, max 4079264, io->read_error 0
56.38s: read error 3261155 to 3261156, max 4079264, io->read_error 0
75.78s: read error 3261145 to 3261156, max 4079264, io->read_error 0
...20 more...
-----------------------------

I think you can give it up. No, this is not a diabolical protection and yes, it may even play just fine.

Thank you for the information. Ah, yes I saw the details regarding bad discs, but I didn't want to assume it was the disc and instead have something else on my system that prevented it from working. CloneDVD2 wouldn't burn a disc for me after opening iTunes awhile back so better to ask than assume.
