SecuROM 7.36 disc

I'm trying to backup an application that uses SecuROM 7.36 (not a game, just a simple educational Flash player application on CD).

I've been using the GameJackal latest version but only with partial success - the first time I ran the app after creating a new profile it worked OK, but 2nd and other times I got this SecuROM error:

* Please insert the original disc instead of a backup (4003).
* Please have a look at http://www.securom.com/message.asp?m=copy&c=4003 for further, more detailed information.

I have disabled Virtual CloneDrive, and tried doing the full-image option in Game Jackal, and also tried the recommendations of the performance/reliability wizard to do a full scan. Also tried disabling antivirus (ESET NOD32 5.x) though Prevx 3.x is still running.

Any suggestions? Seems like this should work as I had one successful run.

I suspect this is outside the envelope and I can't explain how it worked one time. I'll check though support in your ticket.

It's a part of the Securom Protection after you install and run application it will function for only this time after that no more if original media is not inserted.
