Exclamation Region Code Error

Hi,

I am new here but our company been using AnyDVD HD for a long time already.
We have experienced a new problem about the region code error, when i am ripping a BD and set the AnyDVD HD ver. 7.0.4.0 to remove all Blu-ray region code. After ripping we try to play the BD movie and it plays fine. But, when we try to play the ripped BD on other player it is showing the error movie is set to Region B. I thought AnyDVD HD use to remove the region codes not setting it to any region that is compatible to a player. Please advice us what we can do on this matter. Thanks A lot

When removing region code you have to choose the region of the disc not the region of the player. As it remembers your previous choices you'll have to set it to always ask and re-rip those discs again from the originals and this time choose the disc region and not the player region

I have set the Blu-ray disc region to Remove Blu-ray region code and its automatic. So you mean ill set it to "always ask for region code of inserted disc"?

but on those discs did it ask you for the region code, It's not always possible for AnyDVD HD to determine the region code so if it can't it then asks you for the region code, at which point if you tell it the wrong region it stores that region for next time you put the disc in and the only way round it is to set it to 'always ask' and insert the disc again.
You might also want to check what region your software player is set to as it should have flagged up any region issues if it's set to the same region as the other player.

You could also post up a logfile for one of the discs that doesn't work
